Politics is not a subject I like!
As a matter of fact I really don't have much respect at all for politicians.
A lot, as a matter of fact most, seem to lie through their teeth to win you over.
I will tell you my opinion on this election though.
When you vote remember if something would happen to the President you elect the Vice President takes over!
Do you really want to take a chance that Sarah Palin would be the one in office to run our US Government?

I don't like posting negative things. I would rather post up positive things to brighten your day, but, some things are so important for everyone to know that I have to write about them.

One she had on recently was about Slowing Down in Your One Life.
Slow Down, Your health, Your children's health, Your Mental health depends on you taking care of yourself.
One lady was on her show taking about her life being so busy she did not know that she had left her daughter in the car.
She had 2 young children and husband and a job.
Her husband normally took the children to 2 different day cares everyday then went to work and she went to her job.
This day her husband could not take her daughter to her daycare.
The mother went to work and forgot her small daughter was in the back seat.
8 Hours Later someone told her her daughter was still in her car.
She said she had just been talking to someone about her children and how they loved them and how much they meant to them.
Of course she immediately panicked and tore out to the car and pulled her daughter out of the car so fast the car seat came with her.
The sad part is she was to late!
It was August. The hottest month of the year. Her daughter had died of head stroke.

We get so busy in our lives raising our children, working full time, trying to keep up with everything life throws at us.
We simply can not do everything, it's not possible.
We all choose our lives. Make your choices well and with Wisdom.
Slow down, you will live longer, and enjoy the moments. THE Moments can not be enjoyed if you don't take the time to enjoy them.

Sometimes we have to make better financial decisions to slow down.

Everyone Must Have Health Insurance! It is so Important.

My sister fell over the weekend.
We were all at my daughters home celebrating 4 birthdays.
She got her hamburger off the grill, turned around and started walking, she forgot
there was a step there. When she tried to catch herself her knees froze up, she tried to step down and broke 1 leg, then she fell, and broke the other leg.
Where she fell she should not have broken anything. There was only 1 step and it was soft wood. Everyone Needs Health Insurance!

Two Broken Legs!

The hospital stay for 5 days is $30,000!!
Her 2 week stay at a nursing home is $5,000!!

Since she recently started a new job she does not have Health Insurance to cover this!
My daughter's Home Insurance said they would pay her only $1,000!! If they pay that it will raise her Home Owners Insurance several hundred dollars a year for the next few years!

My sister and her husband are hard working people just like the rest of us, No Huge Nest Egg witch is what she would need to pay that bill.
You never know what will happen.

I walked out my front door and fell off a step onto concrete and broke my arm.
Visit to the doctor, x rays, 3 visits to specialists, more xrays. The xrays alone were over $1,500! The doctor visits, split, medications were about $600, nothing near what my sister's bill looks like!
I have health insurance. My out of pocket expense was $160.

My oldest daughter & her husband are adopting a boy 7 yrs old & a girl 8 Yrs old.
They were foster children taken from their mother, then their grandmother, then were in a couple of different fosters before my daughter took them in.

 

Now my youngest daughter has taken a baby 10 months old to keep her from going back into foster care. She is planning to adopt her as well.

I am very excited to be a new grandma and very proud of my children. They are very caring people to take children into their own home as their own.

If everyone could take just 1 child and give them a home the problem with all these children needing a secure, loving family to call their own would be non existant.
